BDR Noden was enlisted into the Army Reserve on June 23, 1985 and was posted
to the band as a saxophone player. In 1991, he was appointed to the position of
Drum Major.
In September 1992, David went to the Defence Force School of Music, Watsonia
Barracks, and successfully completed a Drum Majors' course. In 1994, he was
promoted to the rank of Bombardier and in 1997, he passed a subject One for
Sergeant course.
David is a Senior Management Information analyst for the Bank of Melbourne
Ltd. He is currently studying a Bachelor of Commerce by correspondence at Deakin
university, Warrnambool, majoring in Accounting and Management Information
Systems
